1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the Jitume Omoka Dream Big Challenge ("Competition") operated by Jitume Omoka. By submitting an entry you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the declarations made in the entry wizard.
2. Eligibility
You must be a Kenyan citizen aged 18–35 on 1 June 2026. Only one entry per person (verified by phone number and National ID). Videos must be original work filmed by you or with your consent. Employees of Jitume Omoka and immediate family members of judges are not eligible.
3. Competition period
Entries open 1 June 2026 and close 31 August 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted. Jitume Omoka may extend or close the window with notice on this website.
4. Entry requirements
You must complete all seven sections of the online entry form, verify your phone via OTP, and upload a vertical (9:16) video of 30–120 seconds at minimum 480p with audible audio. Maximum file size 250 MB; accepted formats MP4, MOV, or WebM. False or misleading information may result in disqualification.
5. Prizes
Total prize pool: KES 113,500, distributed across the top 10 placed winners as follows — 1st: KES 25,000; 2nd: KES 20,000; 3rd: KES 15,000; 4th: KES 12,000; 5th: KES 10,000; 6th: KES 8,000; 7th: KES 7,000; 8th: KES 6,000; 9th: KES 5,500; 10th: KES 5,000. Prizes are paid via M-PESA to the number registered at entry, initiated by 14 October 2026. All 10 placed winners also receive a free 6-month Pro subscription to Jitume Omoka at platform launch. Prizes are subject to applicable tax laws. Jitume Omoka may substitute prizes of equal value if necessary.
6. Intellectual property & licence
You retain ownership of your video. By entering, you grant Jitume Omoka a non-exclusive licence to use your submission for competition administration, judging, and promotion as described in the consent tiers you select during entry. Extended platform feature consent, if granted, allows longer promotional use as specified in the wizard.
7. Judging & decisions
Entries are reviewed for eligibility, fraud signals, and quality. Judges' decisions are final. Jitume Omoka may disqualify entries that violate these Terms, contain prohibited content, or fail technical requirements after processing.
8. Conduct & fraud
Duplicate submissions, identity misrepresentation, plagiarised video, or attempts to manipulate the entry system may result in removal from the Competition and forfeiture of prizes. Automated fraud checks may flag entries for manual review.
9. Limitation of liability
Jitume Omoka is not liable for technical failures, SMS delivery delays, upload interruptions, or third-party service outages beyond our reasonable control. Our liability is limited to the value of prizes owed to verified winners.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Kenyan courts.
